No, you can’t deny women their basic rights and pretend it’s about your ‘religious freedom.’ If you don’t like birth control, don’t use it. Religious freedom doesn’t mean you can force others to live by your own beliefs.

right when a new MAC collection comes out.
I don’t really want much from the collection but I’d like to have one of the suntints and the highlighter because it’s gorgeous and when you finish up the top layer it turns into something like benefit’s hervana. plus the packaging is just cute.
I kind of want it but I also don’t need it at all.
I reallyy want this but I can’t justify spending $29 on it. Maybe I’ll get lucky and it will show up in a CCO in a few months.
Birchbox Rant / Monthly Subscription Rant
I think they’re a great company and they have really good customer service, but I just can’t keep wasting $10 every month for a box with samples that I don’t even like!
I was excited about the Teen Vogue box because of the Tarte LipSurgence and the Essie nail polish but I ended up getting the pink lipsurgence and the gold nail polish. I was really hoping to get the lipsurgence in “joy” and the pink polish.
April’s box was just completely lame. My box got lost in the mail but they sent me another one which was nice and I ended up getting that box plus the one that got lost. Each box was different. Do they even look at the beauty profiles? There was only one nice product, the tinted lip balm.
As for May’s box, I don’t even know. I got my shipment notification email on the 12th and the tracking info still isn’t available. Turns out, the tracking number for this month’s box and April’s box are exactly the same. sketchy. So I emailed them about it. As for the samples this month, they’re pretty nice. But I’ll probably get all the ones that I don’t want again. I’d really love to get the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment or the LipFusion lip balm. Or even the coral nail polish.
I know, I know, the box is supposed to be a surprise and that’s the fun of it. I thought I would enjoy it but I would rather be able to choose my samples. I love the idea of subscription services like Birchbox, and like I said, they’re a great company. But I just can’t afford to spend $10 on it every month when I could be using that money to buy things that I’m actually going to use.
I was really intrigued with Glossybox because their brands and products for the first box are awesome. But $21 a month? No way. I have a feeling they’re gonna end up like MyGlam and have a great first box but slowly get worse. As for MyGlam, I don’t think I’ll ever subscribe to them because of all the horror stories I’ve heard.
I guess these subscription services just aren’t for me.
